DayOff

By Tria Zaluska , In , , ,

Today I’ve a day off, the first thing I did the morning was to watch DVD. I’m really excited because it’s a documentary movie about Anna Wintour is preparing Vogue September Issue 2009, this movie is fantastic you can see how crazy, full pressure, dramatic stress and what a hectic schedule preparing amazing fashion magazine, and the craziest thing is not a regularly issue, it’s 100 fantastic pages September Issue! Don’t compare with “Devil Wears Prada” movie, that movie is crab. This “September Issue” movie is really recommended. All I can say this is the real “Devil Wears Prada”
This is the review :Anna Wintour, editor of Vogue for 20 years, is the most powerful and polarizing figure in fashion. Larger than life and more complex than fiction, Wintour embodies a fascinating contradiction of passion and perfectionism as she reigns over a dizzying array of designers, models, photographers, and editors. Director R.J. Cutler delivers a rare insider account of the nine months leading up to the printing of the highly anticipated September issue of the magazine, which promises to be the biggest one ever. He takes us behind the scenes at fashion week, to Europe and back, on shoots and reshoots, and into closed-door staff meetings, bearing witness to an arduous and sometimes emotionally demanding process. At the eye of this annual fashion hurricane is the two-decade relationship between Wintour and Grace Coddington, incomparable creative director and genius stylist. They are perfectly matched for this age-old conflict between creator and curator. Through them, we see close up the delicate creative chemistry it takes to remain at the top of the ever-changing fashion field. Cutler cleverly deconstructs the creative process as it plays out in the hollowed halls of Vogue, lined with racks of couture. In The September Issue, his access and insight are impressive and make us aware that he is offering us a privileged glimpse into a world many dream about but few see.

Old and New Stuff!

It’s my new necklace; Silver combined with ribbon is matched. And the top is my mom old stuff, I love mix match my mom old stuff and my own stuff. It’s my excited fashion exercise to make old tings look like a new stuffs. My mom is very fashionable woman; I learn many things from her and its kind of gift for me because I’m her heiress outfit hahaha! Black tights from Zara are always the best; you can wear it with everything and you look great. Old and new stuff are melted in one outfit

The contrasting colours to your outfit are so vivid and bold, and work really well together.

I have also seen 'The September Issue' and found it totally insightful!

I just watched the September Issue the other day. It makes me want to never work for Vogue. It just looks so stressful!!

I love how your red makeup pops in these pictures. It's a really strong look.
